Group Therapy
Group therapy at WholeChild Wellness is designed to feel real, social, and engaging. Groups are intentionally small (4–6 participants), giving every teen the chance to participate, share, and feel truly seen. Sessions mix structure with creativity, so they strike the balance between useful and actually enjoyable. Teens leave not just with strategies, but with the sense that therapy can be a space they look forward to.
Note: Group participation is available for active clients of WholeChild Wellness who have completed the full intake process.

Strength, Positivity, ADHD, Resilience, Knowledge
ADHD in girls doesn’t always look like bouncing off the walls. It’s often losing track of time, missing details, zoning out, or feeling overwhelmed by simple routines. At home it can mean arguments over homework, tears when plans change, or explosive emotions that seem to come out of nowhere.
Many girls mask during the school day, only to unravel later—leaving them drained, frustrated, and misunderstood.

Building Independence Through Eating
For many adolescents with ARFID or selective eating, food struggles spill into daily life—packing the same lunch every day, dreading birthday parties, or panicking when faced with unfamiliar foods. Parents often feel stuck between worry and endless battles at the table.
In a small, supportive setting, kids learn to explore at their own pace—whether that’s sitting with a new food, taking a tiny bite, or adding something new to their plate. With peers alongside them, progress feels less scary and more achievable.

Why Group Works
Adolescence is a stage where friends matter deeply and comparison is constant. For many teens with ADHD, anxiety, or feeding challenges, this can mean feeling “different,” “too much,” or left behind. Group therapy flips that narrative by providing a space where peers are struggling with the same things—and cheering each other on while they practice solutions in real time.
